Education and Training

In the area of Education and Training the company offers consultancy services to Ministries of Education, Youth and Labour, technical and vocational educational and training (TVET) institutions, TVET Focal points and other training providers. The company is experienced in handling a wide variety of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) consultancy assignments using the Competency-based Education and Training (CBET) approach, including development of national qualifications and assessment frameworks, quality management, CBET instructor and assessor training, programme and curriculum development, implementation and evaluation, all tailored to the specific requirements of the individual client.

In providing these services the company utilizes cutting edge technologies and research and evaluation methodologies, to solve immediate and emerging training needs in response to labour market demands.

Human Resource Development

In the area of Human Resource Development, the company provides organizations and businesses with a wide variety of human resource services including skills training and upgrading, workforce development, performance management (using performance management indicators – PMIs as a measurement tool), organizational development, policy and procedures development and related research. Using a structured approach to developing creative human potential, the company helps businesses make the most of their human capital. These consulting services can be provided on-site or off-site or a combination that best suits the client’s needs

Capacity Building and Institutional Strengthening

Through the expertise of directors and the network of associates, the company has the ability to build capacity and strengthen institutions which enable them to deliver better quality services in a more cost-effective manner. DPBG has the competence to assess the strengths and weaknesses of companies along multiple dimensions of management including strategic direction, organizational structure, planning, monitoring, and evaluation. Using the results from research and institutional assessments, the company is able to build capacity through a variety of means including education and training reform programmes, strategic and long-term planning, financial management, policy dialogue and transition to implementation.

Research and Labour Market Needs Assessment

The Company has had a successful track record in conducting Labour Market Needs Assessments, Employment, Skills, and Occupational Sector Studies throughout the Caribbean. Its Directors and Associates also have wide experience in conducting social research, utilising a variety of qualitative and quantitative methodologies, integrating the latest statistical software technologies to analyse, synthesize, summarize and to develop final research reports. DPBG has conducted several labour market needs assessments in Canada and throughout the Caribbean Region, enabling countries to develop polices and strategic plans towards training and meeting market demands.
