Dr. Philomen Harrison is a Development Expert with almost 40 years of experience in Trinidad and Tobago, CARICOM, and international organisations. She oversaw numerous surveys and led the Regional Statistics Programme at the CARICOM Secretariat for 16 years. She worked with UN agencies, international partners, and governments on statistical development projects and contributed to the United Nations Statistical Commission. Her research focuses on Financing Economic Development in Trinidad and Tobago, specifically the private sector’s response to macroeconomic adjustment policies.
